Route 112 & Route 9 Reconstruction Project. Full depth reclamation with injected emulsified asphalt. Prevailing wages apply. Bidders must meet MassDOT prequalification requirements. Project funded by a MassWorks grant. Contractor Qualification Highway Division The current goals for Minority and Women Business participation are 10.4% MBE and WBE for construction. The participation objectives are goals and not quotas or set-asides. All qualified Minority and Women Owned businesses are encouraged to apply. The work is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts grant funded MASSWORKS project to prepare, level, and resurface a 1.5 mile stretch of Route 112, from the historic William Cullen Bryant Homestead to the popular Old Creamery Co-op at the intersection of Route 9. The project will divert water off the road, which is currently prone to frequent flooding, causing unsafe conditions and lengthy traffic detours. It is the towns intent that this project be completed by October 31, 2020.
