Clarification Deadline: 5/1/2020 5:00 PM Upper Macungie Township will receive sealed bids electronically for the Rabenold Pump Station Improvements, Sewage Pump Replacement project. The Work will involve setting up and maintaining auxiliary pumps, removal of the existing pumps and control cabinets, and installation of the new pumps, control cabinets and appurtenances including electrical construction. Bids results will be made available electronically after bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to Upper Macungie Township in anamount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.1 of the General Conditions. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. The site visit is not a mandatory requirement for bidding the project.
