Pre-construction services are included with the Construction Manager's responsibilities with the design phase of the Project. Prior to commencing construction of the Project, the Construction Manager will assume the risk of delivering the Project through a GMP contract amendment. The Construction Manager will be responsible for construction means and methods and will be required to solicit bids from qualified subcontractors to perform the work. During the construction phase, the Construction Manager shall be solely responsible for performance of the Project and shall function in the role of an independent General Contractor.
