Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 101,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and office development.
Construction of a Recreation Centre, anchored by three gymnasiums, fitness and multipurpose studios, strength training, exterior fitness area, associated change room facilities, meeting and administration space, and an indoor elevated track. The proposed 101,000 gross sq. ft. facility is intended to create a fitness and activity centre that offers students ample room to move, and state-of-the-art exercise opportunities to achieve their fitness goals. The Centre will be the new home of UBC's Physical Activity office. TIMELINE: All major trades are secured. Integral Group is the Sustainability and Commissioning Consultant. The building will target LEED GOLD certification as a minimum.
