Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Blaine Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Proposal must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashiers check, bank good faith check,other irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total amount of bid and made payable to the order of the Washington County Commissioners. Only the Bid Securities listed will be accepted. The Washington County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bid proposals. Any questions regarding the specifications should be emailed at least 10 days prior to bid opening to Randy Vankirk, Director of Purchasing at vankirkr@co.washington.pa.us or to Cathy Sams at samscath@co.washington.pa.us. The description of work to be completed under this Contract is as follows: The work for the construction of the Buffalo Creek Bridge No. 29 Replacement in Blaine Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, shall include, but is not necessarily limited to 1. Removal of existing steel truss superstructure. 2. Removal of portions of existing substructure. 3. Construction of new abutments on drilled concrete caissons and soldier pile wall. 4. Delivery and installation of galvanized prefabricated bridge structure. 5. Roadway approach work. 6. Guide rail installation. 7. Maintenance and protection of traffic. 8. Erosion and sediment pollution control.
