Site work for a road / highway in Blaine Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Bids will be awarded at the regular Independence Township Supervisors meeting held at 10:00 AM on Friday January 21, 2022. The INDIAN CAMP RUN ROAD SLIDE PROJECT includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to repair a slide on Indian Camp Run Road including installation of approximately 950 square feet of geogrid reinforced precast concrete modular block retaining wall. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Independence Township. The bid envelope must be clearly marked INDIAN CAMP RUN ROAD SLIDE PROJECT. Independence Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the INDIAN CAMP RUN ROAD SLIDE PROJECT. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Independence Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
