*Vendor Questions 5-21-2020 3:00 pm CST This project is essentially split up into two elements: Utility Work: Excavation, installation and connections to existing utilities for new Domestic Water Supply (DWS), Industrial Cooling Water (ICW), Chilled Water Supply and Return (CHWS/CHWR), Makeup Water (MUW), Sanitary Sewer (SAN), Sanitary Lift Station and Sanitary Force Main (SFM), Storm Sewer (ST), building service connections and all associated valves, hydrants, fittings, manholes, lift station and chlorination of DWS piping. Also included is dewatering, concrete, access road construction, pavement, and landscape restoration. Selective Demolition, Site Preparation, Dewatering, Cofferdam, Excavation, Site Utilities, Asphalt, Landscaping, Concrete, Electrical Master Substation Feeder: Installation of electrical feeder system and communications ductbank from the P71 air switches to and throughout the Accelerator Campus. The scope includes: concrete encased electrical and communications ductbank, power manholes, handholes, 15KV power cables, 15KV air switches, grounding systems, directional bored conduit systems, etc. It is anticipated this project will be awarded October 1, 2020. Please note the Buy American Act Requirement. This project is tax exempt. The projects are located on the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) Site, adjacent to the city of Batavia, Illinois in DuPage County and inside the TeV Ring area adjacent to Wilson Hall IA-0 and extends from A-4 Service Building area on the north to F-3 Service Building on the south. Access to the site is via Wilson Street to Discovery Road south to Kautz Road, east on South Booster Road to the Main Ring Road. Construction access to the site will be the Kautz Road gate off Butterfield Road (Rte. 56)approximately one (1) mile east of Farnsworth / Kirk Road intersection.
