Miscellaneous repairs on roof and exterior walls on Fire Station No. 2 located at 825 10th Street North in Texas City, Texas. Work includes, but not limited to, the following: Exterior Walls: 1. Remove and reinstall existing storm shutters at exterior of windows. 2. Replace backer rod and sealant at perimeters of windows, doors, louver frames, and wall openings, between metal wall panels/ brick and sheet metal fascia, between CMU and roll-up doors, between brick and canopy flashing, and between brick and concrete sidewalk. 3. Install sheet metal sill flashing at bottoms of windows. 4. Replace backer rod and sealant at control joints in masonry. 5. Replace/install backer rod and sealant around wall penetrations. 6. Replace aluminum door pivots at main entrance; replace weather-stripping and thresholds at HM and aluminum doors. 7. Apply "wet-seal" sealant between glass and window frames. 8. Remove mortar in head joints between adjacent brick; add weeps at masonry head joints above windows. 9. Repair/replace damaged soffit panels. 10. Perform tuck-pointing of mortar in joints between adjacent brick units and CMU. 11. Route and apply sealant in step cracks of brick units and CMU. 12. Clean and paint exposed steel, and hollow metal doors and frames. 13.Power wash and apply elastomeric coating to CMU block wall at West elevation; perform tuck-pointing and paint inside of CMU. 14. Remove abandoned wall vent, repair backup wall and weather barrier, and install new brick. Roof 15. Replace/install elastomeric coating at lap seams, penetrations, and edge of metal roof panels. 16. Clean and paint roof equipment and vents. 17. Clean debris from existing gutters and trim trees back from roof. 18. Install overflow ports in existing gutters. 19. Replace sealant at roof penetrations and joints in gutters. 20. Install stainless steel draw-bands and sealant around top edges of roof penetration flashings. 21. Replace sealant at counter-flashings and roof edge flashings. 22. Provide specified manufacturer and contractor warranties. B. Alternate Bid No.1: Install stainless steel screens over tops of gutters. C. Alternate Bid No.2: Power wash masonry and apply clear sealer to exterior surface.
