The City of Plantation, Florida is soliciting bids for Fire Station No. 4 Roof Replacement. The project will generally consist of, but is not limited to, the following: All labor, materials, tools equipment and any other incidentals necessary to replace the proposed roof for the building located at 8200 SW 3rd Street, Plantation, Florida 33324 The scope shall include: removal/replace damaged plywood decking as required, remove and replace all wood facia with new, remove and replace existing gutters and down spouts with new 6" gutters to match for entire building. All products and installation shall be in accordance with applicable Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance and the Florida Building Code. Scope of work shall include the removal and replacement of existing metal drip edge throughout with new metal drip edge with factory painted finish, color to match specified tile. The bas bid shall comply with RAS120 for hot-applied Product Approved underlayment system (modified bitumen cap sheet) with adhesive set tile. Roofing Manufacturer to provide product approval certification meeting the up-lift requirements. Installation of a complete system with all accessories for a watertight roofing system.
