Renovation of a water / sewer project in Channelview, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**Project has been awarded but amount was not confirmed.** Work of the contract includes the replacement of the roof structure of the West 1,000,000 gallon ground storage tank at the Avenue D Water Plant facility, and the replacement of the roof structure of the 1,000,000 gallon ground storage tank at the Cedar Lane Water Plant facility, and the recoating of the exterior of the Cedar Lane tank to match the new roof color. Both facilities are owned and operated by Harris County W.C. & I.D. No. 21 in Channelview, Harris County, Texas. The sites can be inspected during normal operating hours Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. There is an add aternate bid item to demo and remove an existing steel GST located just adjacent to the Cedar Lane tank. Replace the existing roof structure of the westernmost 1,000,000 gallon ground storage tank at the Avenue D Water Plant. Includes the tank roof plates, the upper approx. 12 of the tank shell, Rim Angle, rafters, and support columns. The tank roof structure design shall be signed and sealed by a licensed Texas Professional Engineer Replace the existing 12" tank fill line piping (See Drawing) Install five roof vents on the new roof Install one roof hatch on the new roof Reconnect the interior and exterior ladders Provide coating system for all new installed items Perform repairs to coatings damaged by the installation of these new items.
