Site work for a civil project in Portsmouth, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Will Include Accessing the Existing 54-inch Diameter Corrugated Metal Pipe (Cmp) via a Vertical Shaft, Tunneling Through the Damaged Section, Replacing the Damaged Section, Sealing Visible Voids at Open Joints Within an Undamaged Section of the Cmp, and Installing a New 42-inch Diameter High Density Polyethylene (Hdpe) Carrier Pipe. The Contractor Must Coordinate With the Owner Throughout the Project Related to the Timing of Opening and Closing Valves at the 12th Street Pump Station. A Bid Bond or Certified Check Must Accompany All Bids in the Amount of Ten (10) Percent of the Total Bid Price and Must Be Submitted With Each Bid. Within 72 Hours of Receipt of This Advertisement for Bid, Bidder Must Notify Owner of Intent to Bid by Phone or Email. The Successful Bidder is Required to Furnish a Performance Bond or Certified Check and a Payment Bond or Certified Check in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Total Bid Price. Prevailing Wages on Public Improvements in Portsmouth, Ohio, as Determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations, Shall Be Paid to All Employees on This Project. City of Portsmouth Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any Informality in Bids or to Accept in Whole or in Part Such Bid or Bids as May Be Deemed in the Best Interest of the City of Portsmouth.
