As of July 13 2020 this project has an awarded bidder. The project generally consists of the construction of a new water treatment plant (previously awarded precast building panels procurement contract to be assigned to general contractor), installation of iron and manganese treatment system and granular activated carbon treatment system (previously awarded procurement contracts to be assigned to general contractor), connection to existing process piping and chemical treatment. The Project includes the following Work: o Construct water treatment facility with precast concrete building panels (received from and installed by panel Seller as subcontractor by contract assignment), cast-in-place concrete foundations, and floor slab; o Receive and install GAC treatment system provided by Seller (Seller will install media); o Make all piping and electrical connections to the GAC treatment system; o Receive and install iron and manganese treatment system provided by Seller, including sodium permanganate dosing system; o Install iron and manganese treatment system media; o Make all piping and electrical connections to the iron and manganese treatment system; o Provide process piping, valves, and appurtenances; o Provide painting and special coatings; o Construct site access including bituminous and concrete pavement; o Provide site utilities, site grading, and site restoration; o Erosion and sediment control; o Start up the entire constructed Project including but not limited to: the GAC treatment system, and the iron and manganese treatment system; and o Miscellaneous and incidental work as described in the Bidding Documents.
