The Town of Bay Harbor Islands is seeking a qualified contractor to provide services for the design, furnish and install of a complete functional SCADA System- Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for the Town's Main Lift Station. The nature and scope of this contract are as follows: Furnish and install of a complete functional SCADA System- Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for the Town's main lift station. The RTU shall continuously monitor, transmit, report, and record high water level, power failure, unit low battery voltage, remote signal failure, operating hours after midnight, pump starts, wet well level, high and low level alarm set points, kilowatt power usage based on pump amperage, instantaneous and average station flow based on flow meter or calculated from pump amperage and discharge pressure, discharge pressure, high and low pressure alarm set points, intrusion alarm, and drywell flooding at drywell station. The Contractor shall verify that all existing station conditions can be modified to meet the Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD) Requirement for SCADA system implementation. If any of the existing equipment or devices within the existing station is found to be inadequate for the new SCADA implementation, they must be replaced or supplemented in accordance with contract requirements.
