Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Rochester, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project is located at the Olmsted County Public Works Service Center, located at 1188 50th Street SE, Rochester, MN 55904. The Trench Drain Reconstruction project includes removing approximately 580 linear feet of cast iron trench drains in the Service Center and constructing new trench drains in a modified configuration. The new configuration will include five 18-foot-long trench drain segments and one 66 foot long segment, all of which will reuse existing cast iron grates. A portion of existing floor around each new segment will be removed and reconstructed to allow for excavation and construction of new trench drains. The remaining length of original drains will be infilled with concrete. The project also includes approximately 600 linear feet of floor joint reconstruction, 400 linear feet of joint overcutting, and 3,150 linear feet of joint filling in the Service Center, Shop Area, and Cold Storage Building.
