Response Format: Electronic Only Type of Award: Lump Sum License Requirements: A Estimated Bid Value: $1,800,000 to $2,200,000 Online Q and A: June 3, 2020 11:59 PM (Pacific) The work consists of relining approximately 450 linear feet of the Lakeview Pipeline, including welding, grouting, and mortar lining; replacing a 61-inch by 61-inch by 49-inch reducing tee; furnishing three steel bulkheads for installation by others; abatement of hazardous materials; and other appurtenant work as specified and shown on the drawings. Bid Bond Required Bidder Prequalification/Preregistration Required Contractors License Required Liquidated Damages Apply Payment Bond Required The SBE/DVBE participation rate is 20 percent. The successful bidder and its agents, employees, and subcontractors shall comply with provisions of the California Labor Code, including those relating to payment of prevailing rates of wages. The bidder and its subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. Metropolitan will not accept any bid without proof of current registration to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. The successful bidder will be permitted to substitute securities for money that would otherwise be withheld by Metropolitan as provided in California Public Contract Code 22300
