***This project was awarded to Allied Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $1,839,705.95.*** This is an ODOT LPA Federally Funded Project OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST: $1,966,225 The project consists of the installation of approximately 4,700 linear feet of 8-foot wide decorative multi-use sidewalk, 36 decorative street lights, decorative stamped concrete crosswalks, decorative roadway concrete pavement at two intersections, traffic signal enhancements, pedestrian bridge enhancements, roadway bridge rehabilitation, and modular block retaining wall replacement. All bidders must be ODOT pre-qualified and submit a bid security with their bid in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 153.54 and as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. A list of Bidding Documents Plan Holders will be available at the office of the City Engineer. Each Bidder must be a Bidding Documents Holder as defined in Article 1 of the Instruction to Bidders. The Board of Control of the City of North Canton, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. DBE participation goals (Subcontracts, materials, supplies) have been set on this project for those certified as DBEs in accordance with the TEA-21 (1998) and 49 CFR, Part 26, and qualified to bid with ODOT under Chapter 5525 of the Ohio Revised Code (O.R.C.).
