Site work and paving for a road / highway in Durango, Colorado. Design plans call civil work for a road / highway.
The Roosa Connect project is a proposed 10' shared-use path along Roosa Avenue, on the east side of the roadway, from 9th Street (south end) to El Paso Street (north end). The Strategic Plan objective of ensuring an effective infrastructure network by improving safety and connectivity for pedestrians and transit users on currently rural designed road in Durango. This project will advance community accessibility and walkability by creating sidewalk along Roosa Avenue and safer crossings at intersections with ADA ramps. As of October 20, 2023, this project is in the design phase. An engineer has been selected for the project. Information regarding contractor selection has not been disclosed.
