The Iron County School District intends to construct a New East Elementary School. The anticipated square footage will be approximately (74,500). It is anticipated that the projects will begin construction approximately March of 2023 with anticipated occupancy in August 2025. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit competitive proposals from qualified firms for a Construction Manager (at risk)/General Contractor (CM/GC). Firms must be licensed and certified as applicable in the State of Utah, to construct a new East Elementary school per design from Naylor Wentworth Lund Architects. The CM/GC will work closely with the Iron County School District Construction Supervisor and Naylor Wentworth Lund Architects, through the design phase, providing cost estimates, schedules and feedback of design details, phasing, and availability of materials selected. CM/GC will also monitor the bid climate and recommend the optimal bidding schedule to the design team. Iron County School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any formality, informality, irregularity or technicality in any proposal. The District also reserves the right to call for new bids if their interests or convenience is better served by such course. If any portion of the above terms are not acceptable it is the bidders responsibility to so state in writing.
