Renovation of a medical facility in Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The purpose of this project is to upgrade, install new and correct fire alarm devices and sprinkler deficiencies as required to bring building's 10, 78A and 81 up to a fully addressable fire alarm system. A fully addressable fire alarm system shall be designed and installed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and current code requirements. Work includes but not limited to all labor, material, equipment, phasing, site work, and supervision to perform the required construction as laid out in the design documents. The upgrades will address sprinkler and fire alarm deficiencies in three buildings located on the Bedford Campus. Buildings 10, 78A and 81, at the end of this project will be up to code and fully adhere to VA standards. The task order performance period is 259 calendar days after receipt of written Notice to Proceed.
