Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Jackson, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of June 10 , 2020 the project is not yet awarded. It is expected to bid results next week. In general, the work consists of replacing approximately 20,182 linear feet of sanitary sewers in Lake Jackson Subdivision and in a portion of Huisache Street by pipe bursting via HDPE pipe replacement, along with the sewer service laterals. The existing sanitary sewers range from 6-inch to 12-inch in diameter and are up to fourteen (14) feet deep. The work also includes rehabilitating 113 manholes, replacing 14 manholes and installing 11 new precast concrete manholes as shown by the drawings. No bid may be withdrawn orterminated for a period of thirty (30) dayssubsequent to the opening date without the written consent of the Engineer. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bidder Bond or a Certified or Cashier Check upon a State or National Bank of the State of Texas in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid amount. The City of Lake Jackson reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed advantageous.
