Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Lake Jackson, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

The project is described as demolition and removal of existing bathroom buildings, preparing subgrade, installing spread footings, coordinating utility reconnections with the building manufacturer the day of building installation, and replacing surrounding pavements. The project consists of demolition and removal of one bathroom building and one combined concession stand and bathroom building. The contractor will be responsible for following the geotechnical recommendations listed in the geotechnical report concerning soil removal and replacement. The City will provide a testing laboratory to verify all geotechnical work. The contractor will also be expected to install electrical, water, and sewer lines as specified in the plans as well as provide licensed plumbers and electricians the day the buildings are set at each of the two locations to connect the new buildings as shown. All concrete surrounding the buildings is to be removed and replaced as shown on the plans including matching existing finishes, jointing, and elevations.
