Renovation of a multi-residential development in Red Wing, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of July 23 , 2020 the project is not yet awarded. Anticipating to have the contract awarded and a construction start date determined within the next couple weeks. It is the Housing and Redevelopment Authoritys intention to award a single prime contract to the lowest bid for the project based on available funding. The project construction start is anticipated to be in the fall of 2020. It is the Bidders responsibility to inquire as to the addenda issued. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Red Wing Housing & Redevelopment Authority, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, must be submitted with each bid. No less than minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project (DavisBacon). Contractors must take affirmative action to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, sexual orientation,disability, familial status or status with regard to public assistance. HUD, Section 3 Compliance & Documentation are required on this project as stipulated in the Bid Documents and HUD Standards. Successful bidders must furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, in the penal sum of the full amount of the contract awarded. The Housing and Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
