As of 7/14/2020: Awarded bidder will be avaialbe on August 18,2020. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for Mather Airport Repair of Localized Failed Payment Sections of Runway 4R/22L. The intent of this project is to mitigate distresses, cracking and joint separation in portions of the existing runway. The County of Sacramento reserves the right to make accommodations to public bid openings and PreBid Conferences due to ongoing health concerns regarding COVID-19. County will strive to provide updates regarding the conduct of its public bid openings and Pre-Bid Conferences as soon as they become available. Each bid must be submitted on the proposal bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond/guaranty issued by a corporate surety, a certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The County does not have a standard bid bond/guarantee form. The bid bond/guarantee form may be provided by the corporate surety. Bids not accompanied by a bid bond/guarantee will not be read and be rejected as non-responsive. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond,issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the County of Sacramento, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to determine which bid, in the judgment of the Board, is the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 16.1%, Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9%.
