All bids will be considered for award by the City of Dixon City Council at their regular meeting on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 The 2020 Street Resurfacing Project consists of various streets throughout in the City of Dixon. The Type II microsurfacing streets include: Alexander Court Alexander Drive Alwin Drive Anchor Court Austin Drive Bell Drive Bristol Court Clipper Court Deck Drive Ferguson Court Fitzpatrick Court Fountain Way Fulmor Drive Galleon Drive Gill Drive Grove Court Hannah Court Hansen Court Harth Court Holly Court Jib Court Joy Court Keel Court Kingston Drive Kirby Court Little Lane Madden Court Madden Drive Margurite Drive Mast Court McCarthy Court McCormack Court Monk Court Moore Drive Morgan Lane Morse Court Palmer Court Pearl Place Pembroke Way Roseberry Court Russel Lane Schooner Ridge Drive Schooner Ridge Court Stern Drive Walton Court Wiegand Court Wiegand Way Yoeman Court All Work shall be completed no later than FORTY (40) WORKING DAYS, after the date set in the Notice to Proceed. The project also consists of a two layer system (rubberized chip seal, type II microsurfacing) and striping the following street in the City of Dixon: Regency Parkway The project also consists of a three layer system (type III microsurfacing, rubberized chip seal, type II microsurfacing) and striping the following street in the City of Dixon: Stratford Avenue Improvements also include crack-sealing on the following street: Pembroke Way between Fountain Way and Stratford Ave Improvements also include dig-outs at the following location: The corner of Moore Drive and Martin Court Pembroke Way south of Fountain Way Striping, Pavement Marking, Pavement Markers, and Rubber Curb with Delineators are part of the project. The work consists of micro-surfacing and striping on existing streets within Dixon. Improvements also include crack-sealing on some streets and dig-outs for a sections at the corner of Moore Drive/Martin Court and on Pembroke Way south of Fountain Way. The Engineer's Estimate for the base bid of this project is $1,182,700. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any irregularity or informality in the bids, to make any award in what it alone deems to be in the best interest of the City, and to reject the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or unfaithful in any former contract with the City of Dixon. All bidders shall be licensed under the provisions of the Business and Professions Code to do the type of work contemplated in the Project. In accordance with Public Contract Code section 3300, the City has determined that a Class A or Class C-42 State contractor's license is required for this project. Failure of the bidder to obtain proper and adequate licensing for an award of the contract shall constitute a failure to execute the contract and shall result in the forfeiture of the security of the bidder. All proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check payable to the orderof the City of Dixon amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid and the additive .The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the City with a certificate of insurance,a performance bond, and a payment bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) .
