White Hall Classroom Building This project includes selective demolition for architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing items for the restrooms at the eastern wing of the classroom building on floors 1, 2, and 3. This will include the removal of all floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, and chase walls for plumbing. Extensive demolition will also occur at the west end of the building on the lower level, where the existing restrooms, showers, and locker room will be gutted, including removal of all floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, as well as plumbing fixtures and electrical fixtures. The demolition as part of this bid pack will ready the building for new work, to be issued in subsequent bid packages. Patterson Office Tower 18 th Floor This project includes selective demolition for architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing items for the 18th floor of Patterson office Tower. This will include the selective removal of all floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, as well as other building elements. The demolition as part of this bid pack will ready the building for new work, to be issued in subsequent bid packages. Bids will be received from Prime Contractors on a Lump Sum Amount for the total project. All phases of the work shall be bid to and through the Prime Contractors. Bids shall be submitted in the manner herein described and on the official proposal form included with the conditions and specifications and shall be subject to all the conditions as set forth and described in the Bid Documents. Bids shall be submitted only on the Official Forms supplied by the University of Kentucky, Construction Procurement Section. Failure to comply with the foregoing requirements will be cause for invalidation of bid. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders, General Conditions and Special Conditions.
