The County of Yolo is requesting bids from qualified Contractors to provide On Call Geosynthetic Liner Repair Services for the Yolo County Landfill per specifications outlined in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bidders who submit a response to this IFB must have the ability to meet the bid specifications and requirements, including the General Terms and Conditions contained in this IFB. All questions regarding this IFB are to be directed to Karen Kawelmacher in the "Question & Answer," section of this solicitation. Failure to adhere to this process may disqualify potential bidder. The County is not responsible for any oral or written interpretations from any other person. Please submit all bids electronically. The County of Yolo advises that interested parties periodically check, and/or other county links for modifications. The County of Yolo is not responsible for misunderstandings of a solicitation or nonresponsive bid due to failure to check these websites for updates or amendments to solicitation documents, and/or other information regarding this solicitation. Failure to periodically check these websites will be at the bidder's/offeror's sole risk. Contract duration: 1 year Contract renewal: 4 annual renewals Prices good for: 90 days When a bid bond is required, every bid shall include a surety company certified bid bond or cashiers check made payable to Yolo County, 625 Court St Room 103, Woodland, CA 95695, in the amount stated in the bid. Said amount to be forfeited to Yolo County should the Bidder, to whom the contract is awarded fails to enter into the contract in accordance with the bid. A performance bond will not be required, unless specifically stated in bid. If required, the bid bond would be returned when the performance bond was received. The performance bond must be executed by a surety company of recognized standing, authorized to do business in the State of California and having a resident agent. When required certification of the performance bond shall be required following bid award and prior to the release of a purchase order. The prices submitted by the Contractors in this proposal must remain in effect for 12 months beginning July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. The awarded contract may be extended for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. Extended terms of this contract will continue for one year periods coinciding with the County fiscal periods beginning July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and/or parts of bids and to waive minor irregularities or variations to specifications contained in bids, and minor irregularities in the bidding process, whenever it is determined to be in the County's best interest.
