Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Schiller Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
2020 Road and Water Improvements the Scope of Work of the Project Involves the Removal and Replacement of Partial Curb and Gutter, Sidewalks, and Driveway Aprons, Adjustments, Reconstructions of Drainage Structures, Installation of New Water Main, Fire Hydrants, Water Services, Milling the Existing Asphalt Surface, Pavement Patching, Installation of a Hot-mix Asphalt Binder Course, and Hot-mix Asphalt Surface Course, Restoration of the Parkways, and All Other Appurtenant Work Thereto. The Contractor Shall Be Paid in Cash for the Work to Be Performed on This Project all Bid Proposals Offered Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in an Amount Which Shall Not Be Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid or a Cashier's Check or Certified Check, Made Payable to the Village of Schiller Park, as a Guarantee That if the Bid Proposal is Accepted, a Contract Will Be Entered Into and the Performance of the Contract Properly Secured. No Bid Proposal Shall Be Considered Unless Accompanied by Such Bid Bond or Check. The Contractor and Subcontractors Shall Comply With All Regulations Issued Pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 Ilcs 130), and Other Applicable Federal Laws and Regulations Pertaining to Labor Standards. The Village of Schiller Park Reserves the Right to Waive Technicalities and to Reject Any/all Bids.
