Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Sealed bids are requested for the cold mix paver wedging and hot oil seal coating including the cleaning of the road surface and any cold mix hand patching required of approximately 6.5 miles of various roads in the Town of Empire, Fond du Lac County. Prospective bidders must meet with James Pierquet prior to bidding. Appointments can be made by calling 920-922-7814. Bids shall be submitted with a separate cost stated for each road segment and a total price for all of the segments. The slag seal coat shall be in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Bids must be accompanied by proof of Workman's Comp. coverage. Bidders are advised that the Town of Empire reserves the right to postpone payment for said seal coat until Nov. 30, 2020. The Town of Empire reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, or to accept any bid which, in the judgment of the Town Board, may be most advantageous to the Town.
