Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
As of March 20, 2026, project will rebid but no definite date for the rebid. In general, the work consists of providing the infrastructure-architectural, HVAC (including ventilation and exhaust), plumbing, electrical, and fire protection-to make a facility operational for a training kitchen where commercial kitchen equipment has already been purchased. The general prime contractor is responsible for preparing the facility for the equipment and hooking up the equipment. The owner is responsible for placing the equipment at the designated locations, but will not make any connections. All potential bidders must be certified contractors before submitting bids. Bids from non-certified contractors will be rejected. Bidders must submit a PDF scanned file of all required bid documents via the eBuilder Bidding Portal (preferred), by US Mail, by third-party delivery service, or by hand delivery to the specified drop box. The bidder is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of the sealed bid.
