Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; religious / funeral development; religious / funeral development; and water / sewer project.
The work for which bids are to be received consists of: Demolition of the Trinity Catholic Church complex located at 203 NW Third St., Evansville, IN 47708. All buildings on the site are to be removed including the church sanctuary, rectory, office, and garage. In addition, the winning bidder will be required to salvage certain materials and transport those materials to a temporary storage facility for their use in Phase II of the project which will be constructed at a later date. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, backfill, temporary site restoration, and all other elements necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be completed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the construction method chosen. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals.
