**The project was awarded to Iron Hills Construction, Inc. The contract cost is $18,467 per tank, Full Contract Price: $55,401.** Submission of sealed proposals may be done so in the following manner as the Authority is presently closed to the Public: 1) Via overnight delivery services 2) Certified Mail Services or 3) Hand delivery by appointment arranged with the Authority Plant Superintendent, Robert Genetelli. Due to the restrictions on public gatherings under the current State of Emergency, the Authority is currently closed to the Public and therefore in-person attendance is prohibited. In the event the Authority opens to the public after the publication of this bid notice and prior to the date of the bid opening, the Authority shall send notice to all Plan holders and will post to online, at least 48 hours in advance of the opening so that members of the public may view the opening in person at the Authority's Offices. The Work of this Contract consists of disconnecting and removing old magnetic flow meters and appurtenances and installing and connecting new Owner furnished magnetic flow meters and appurtenances. The work includes mechanical as well as electrical work. Each proposal shall be submitted on the prepared forms which must be secured from the offices of the Authority in the manner described in Paragraph 3 of this Advertisement, and each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of $500.00 payable to the order of the Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority. If a bid bond is to be used, each bidder must use the form of bid bond prepared by the Authority. No substitute forms of bid bond will be accepted. Each proposal shall be submitted in a properly labeled sealed envelope with the name of the Bidder, his or her address, and the name of the Contract for which the proposal is submitted. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents. The Authority further reserves the right to modify this Contract through the distribution of Addenda to plan holders of record without further publication. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of this Advertisement plus any Addenda issued by the Authority prior to the opening of the Proposal.
