As of January 10, 2022, this project is expected to be officially awarded today. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The purpose of this document is to solicit proposals from qualified consultants to provide design services for Calhoun Avenue Reconstruction. The Class 3 process is used for acquisition of professional service contracts estimated to be more than $50,000. The Consultant shall provide all necessary profession services, including but not limited to, research, engineering, surveying and design services to prepare complete, bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, bid schedule and engineer's estimate for construction, including outreach and coordination assistance with the neighborhood residents, for the reconstruction of Calhoun Avenue from the Gold Creek Bridge to Main Street. The construction work includes: Replacement of road base, drainage and underground water and sewer utilities improvements and new asphalt paving. In addition work will include new curb and gutter and sidewalk installations and miscellaneous other improvements necessary for a complete project. The site of the work is Calhoun Avenue from Gold Creek Bridge to Main Street, in Juneau, Alaska. Proposals will be time-stamped by the Purchasing Division, which will establish the official time of receipt of proposals. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
