TTU Telecommunications intends to augment its cable installation capabilities with a qualified Proposer who can install data communications in accordance with TTU cabling specifications. The term for an awarded Contract under this RFP is anticipated to begin date or the date of the last signature, whichever is later, and to expire four (4) years from that date. Unless terminated earlier pursuant to the Contract terms, the Contract would automatically renew for up to four (4) one (1) year renewal terms unless either party provided written notice of its intent to not renew the Contract at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of the initial or then current renewal term The Proposal should be prepared simply and economically, providing a straightforward, concise description of the Proposer's ability to meet the requirements of this RFP. Emphasis should be on completeness, clarity of content, responsiveness to the requirements, and an understanding of TTU's needs. TTU reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any Proposal it receives pursuant to this RFP. The Proposer will coordinate closely with Telecommunications and respond to work orders submitted via e-mail. An instrument executed, subsequent to award, by a successful Proposer or Bidder that protects an Institution from loss due to the Contractor's inability to complete the Contract as agreed. A bond solely for the protection and use of Payment Bond beneficiaries who have a direct contractual relationship with the prime Contractor or a Subcontractor to supply labor or material.
