Bid amount received $1,065,540.40 The estimated cost of construction for the project is between $900,000 and $950,000 which includes the following scope of work: Emergency Repair of Lake 16 Dam including an upstream concrete cutoff trench, permeation grouting, and a downstream graded filter as follows: Enhancements of an existing temporary Supersack dam that currently directs stream flow to the intake structures. Construction of a concrete cutoff trench that extends a minimum of 15 feet beyond the ends of the existing dam and 10 feet below the dam foundation. Permeation grouting to reduce permeability and fill voids upstream of the cutoff trench and around both sides of the new cutoff trench. Construction of a downstream graded filter on both sides of the spillway. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashiers check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sultan. The City retains the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
