Old Owen Road Sidewalk Project All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sultan. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. This project is subject to state and federal prevailing wage rates. All contractors and subcontractors must pay the higher of the two wages for each job classification. The project is funded in part by Snohomish County Community Development Block Grant funds. In the event of conflicting requirements, the most restrictive will apply.
