The project is funded and part of the Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). The project shall consist of bituminous pulverizing and bituminous paving on Holy Hill Road from Goldendale Road to Maple Road. The project is scheduled for the calendar year 2020 in accordance with the requirements of the Public Works & Highway Committee. Major Items of Work - Approximate Quantities 3,750 Ton - Bituminous Concrete Pavement (Binder/Surface/Driveways) 13,600 S.Y. - Asphalt Pavement Pulverization. A bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to the Village of Germantown at least five (5) days before the bid opening date. The proposal form furnished by the Village shall be properly executed by the bidder. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certi- fied Check payable to the Village of Germantown equal to five percent (5%) of the largest possible total bid or bids, including consideration of alternates. The successful bidder's failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within ten (10) days after the award shall cause the Check or Bid Bond to be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages (Section 62.15(3), Wisconsin Statutes). The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor informality or irregularity in bids received. All proposals shall remain firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening date.
