The work for which bids are asked includes the following: o Removals: excavation common, landscaping, existing boardwalk, shoreline rip-rap for beach area, and unsound/damaged concrete. o Erosion Control: Erosion mat, silt fence, sediment logs, stormwater swales, medium rip-rap along shoreline, and stormwater drain. o Site Improvements: Concrete sidewalk improvements, gravel trails and paths, freestanding shower, freestanding drinking fountain, new site gravel access drive and parking lot, accessible beach mat, and beach and shorelines restoration. o Boardwalk: Helical piles, treated lumber framing, decking and railings. o Electrical: Electrical service, light poles, outlets, and underground conduit. o Utilities: Install new well and water service, sanitary force main service and grinder pump. Buildings: 1) Prefabricated Concrete Restroom: purchase and installation, including foundation and, associated site utilities. 2) Existing Shelter Upgrades: add concrete sidewalk around shelter, new siding, painting, new lighting and other updates. (Additive Alternate) 3) Existing Restroom Upgrades: new metal roof, lighting, painting, upgrades for ADA, and other updates. (Additive Alternate) o Site and Turf Restoration: Site and turf restoration. General site clean-up and amenities installed. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
