The Scope of Work comprises the following: 1 The Contractor shall design, supply, install, test and warranty the Geomembrane Lining System accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. 2 Scabble or otherwise and remove sections of the existing concrete to provide a uniform surface. 3 Place bonded mortar bed, shotcrete or similar layer over the surface of the concrete as required to provide a substrate free of sharp or angular objects. 4 Grind the internal surface of the walls and floor to remove any burrs and similar projections or sharp edges that would potentially damage or puncture the liner. 5 Supply and install geotextile cushion. 6 Supply and install HDPE or equivalent geomembrane compliant with AWWA D130. 7 Provide adequate support to vertical sections of the liner. 8 Seal all penetrations using a pre-formed boot unless otherwise shown on the drawings. 9 Supply and install new stairs fabricated from 304 SS. 10 Supply and install new FRP access ladder. 11 Plugged or seal with a blind flange the bellmouth outlet on the north side of the reservoir for the future reservoir cell. 12 Complete hydrostatic testing. 13 Disinfected the reservoir concrete surfaces, liner, connecting pipework and other installed items in accordance with AWWA standards.
