Renovation of a water / sewer project in Campbell River, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Campbell River invites tenders from General Contractors for a Stipulated Price Contract (CCDC2, 2020) for the supply and installation of new components for necessary upgrades to the Norm Wood Environmental Centre. Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the supply and installation including all labour and materials of following components: 1. A new prefabricated E-House with emergency backup power system and new motor control center (MCC), 2. A new Turbo Blower and process piping for aerobic digester process. 3. Septage receiving station upgrades with a new access terminal. 4. A new master PLC and the migration of the plant control systems. 5. Reconfiguration and modifications of the existing electrical room. 6. Testing and commissioning as well as training for the new systems. 7. Required to maintain full functionality of the NWEC during the course of construction.
