Request for Expressions of Interest for Contractor Prequalification. Interested Suppliers are invited to submit a Response to this MULRFQ for the opportunity to be evaluated and determined whether they are eligible to be added to the Ministry's Multi-Use List of Qualified Suppliers of Forestry Road and Bridge Construction Monitoring and Inspections. The resulting Select List shall remain valid for five years. New contractors may be added to the Select List at any time throughout the year and will be evaluated in the same manner as contractors already on the list. The Ministry does not guarantee evaluation and resulting short-listing of contractors wishing to compete on issued tenders. The Ministry may reject late submissions. The Services include front line monitoring of active forest road and bridge construction, maintenance, and deactivation; inspection of forest road networks; field engineering and detailed survey work. The scope of services that the Road and Bridge Construction Monitor shall complete are generally to examine, inspect, monitor, analyze, and comment on the nature, quality, and quantity of the work being performed by any BCTS Works Contractor. Submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the MULRFQ. Be aware that BCTS has made changes to its EMS and SFM programs to meet the updated 2022 Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Forest Management Standard. Changes impacting BCTS clients include new training requirements (Table 008-1, 008-1A, Tailgate Training, SFI Awareness documents, and new Indigenous rights awareness training, as well as changes to training frequency and a new continuing education component). In addition, note changes to EMS/SFM Environmental Field Procedures and Incident Reporting Procedures which occurred June 1, 2022.
