As of August 5 , 2020 project was awarded to Anderson Columbia This project is located approximately 0.14 miles south of County Road 270 on the west side of County Road 53 in Lafayette County, Florida. The purpose of this project is to mill and resurface NW Sumter Avenue from County Road 53 to its dead-end; approximately 1.34 miles. There are minor stormwater improvements and two sections of full depth pavement replacement included as part of this project. The contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all material from the project site. Questions will be received until 5:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2020. Answers to questions will be issued by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners also reserves the right to reject contractors who in the Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners opinion are not qualified to perform the work. All Bids shall be firm for a period of 90 days after opening. This includes material prices. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All bidders shall comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida. The Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners shall award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
