The work will include the construction and installation of a new elevated precast concrete crossing over Whites Creek Flood Control Channel B. In general, the major work items include: Supply and install an elevated precast concrete boardwalk including decking (concrete treads), abutments, beams, curbs, connections, helical piers and connection hardware and helical tie backs, if required, and connections to concrete beams. Demolition, removal and disposal of top and side walls of existing RCB, removal and replacement of approximately 395 square feet of 4-inch thick concrete sidewalk, removal and disposal of concrete sidewalk, removal and disposal of base and sub-base, removal and disposal of wooden rail fence, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications. The work will also include storm water pollution prevention measures, dewatering as necessary, disturbed landscaping replacement, and all miscellaneous and incidental work necessary to complete the project as specified and as directed by the City of Reno.
