Site work for a water / sewer project in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will install new master meters and backflow prevention devices on the east and west sides of the airport terminal complex to create a campus environment for water services. Once the master meters and backflow devices are installed and accepted by Charlotte Water the project will proceed to remove existing backflow devices and meters to improve the water pressure within the campus. The project also installs new hydrants with backflow devices to act as contractor filling stations for landscape and other services. The City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this Invitation to Bid, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Minority Small Business Enterprise (MSBE) Goal 3.00%
