Description

Renovation of a medical facility in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Upgrades and repairs to Sainte-Justine Hospital Centre. The scope of the repair of the roof slabs in blocks 3 and 5 and provides for installing reinforcement beams on the 7th floor ceiling, installation of cathodic protection on the 8th floor (protects the existing rebar of the slab against corrosion) and finally the installation of a roof. TIMELINE: The owner has cancelled the tender for roofing sub trade contractor CHUSJ-689 because of the cost overruns and will not proceed with the construction. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
