Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
For Glen Avenue and Sheridan Road Culvert The proposed improvement consists of installing 243 linear feet of 72 diameter culvert pipe to carry flow of Dry Run Creek Tributary C under public streets and developed property at the Northwest corner of Glen Avenue and Sheridan Road. The work includes abandonment of existing pipes that previously carried the stream flow and restoration of the surface conditions within the construction area. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier s check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Stormwater Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
