Site work and paving for a road / highway in Norwalk, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project also includes roadway, ADA ramp, traffic signal, and signing and striping improvements at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Hoxie Avenue. The scope of work at this location entails constructing a 12' right turn bay in the westbound direction, which included reconstructing the ADA ramp, sidewalk, curb and gutter, spandrel, cross-gutter, catch basin, and asphalt concrete and the construction of a concrete collar to connect the new catch basin to the existing 18" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) lateral outlet. The pedestrian ramp at the northwest corner is also being reconstructed to ADA standards. The improvements require a traffic signal modification which includes new traffic signal pole. The Project is estimated to cost approximately $4,350,000 and includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents Question Deadline 06/10/2024 at 11:00 AM PT Online Q&A Yes
