Remodeling of an educational facility in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
In general the work consists of: removal of white boards, carpet, the CMU wall between rooms 273 and 279, doors and frames, light fixtures and wiring, ceiling tile and grid, HVAC duct work and components, and data cabling. Install new: steel stud dry wall partitions with sound control, HVAC, controls, louvers, light fixtures, wiring, switches, power and data outlets, wire mold, ceiling tile and grid, paint, carpet, white boards, and monitors. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
