Renovation of a municipal facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of March 22, 2023, information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Government of the District of Columbia (the "District"), through the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development ("DMPED"), is re-issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") as it seeks to receive proposals (each a "Proposal" and collectively "Proposals") from individuals and/or teams (each a "Respondent" and collectively "Respondents") for the redevelopment of the property (the "Project") located at 2000 14th Street NW (the "Development Parcel") (see Figure 1: Development Parcel Map). The Development Parcel is currently improved by the Frank D. Reeves Center of Municipal Affairs (the "Reeves Center") which is anticipated to be vacant and ready for demolition by the summer of 2025. The Development Parcel is also encumbered by a lease of an air rights parcel described more fully in the "Development Parcel Description" section.
