Project consists of constructing a new headworks, aeration basin weirs, splitter box, clarifiers, sludge pump station, chlorine contact chamber and other site improvements. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. EPA MBE/WBE participation goals: MBE 10.9% WBE 10.4% State of NC MBE/WBE participation goal: 10% (combined) 1. Construct new plant effluent line from MH-6 to MH-9 and divert flow. 2. Build new clarifiers and chlorine contact chamber. 3. Build RAW/WAS pump station yard piping and discharge structures. 4. Build headworks, Parshall flume and associated influent and effluent pipe to the extent possible. 5. Provide by-pass pumping from MH-1 to existing headworks to complete new facilities, as needed. 6. Complete testing and commissioning of new structures and equipment. 7. Divert flow into new headworks. 8. Demolish existing clarifiers, chlorine contact chamber and headworks. 9. Construction drain pump station. 10. Complete all site work.
