Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Summerfield, North Carolina. Working plans call for the construction of a 9,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
**As of December 03, 2020, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined. The Town of Summerfield desires a letter of interest and qualifications from firms offering Construction-Manager-at-Risk (CMAR) services for a new town hall facility expected to be approximately 9,000 square feet. Per NCGS 143-128.1, services involve construction management throughout the pre-construction and construction phases. The provider must be a licensed general contractor and guarantee the cost of the project. Services might include: review of structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, environmental and architectural drawings being prepared by Creech & Associates (architect), together with site/civil plans, coordination of project bidding with Creech & Associates; selection of subcontractors; oversight of construction, coordination with the architect and town If you feel information provided is inadequate to submit a letter of interest or if you have any questions concerning the advertisement, please direct all submittal inquiries concerning the RFQ to Town Manager Scott Whitaker at 336-643-8655 or swhitaker@summerfieldnc.gov.
